Hey, people who Chief! 🍃 On this blog, we’ll talk to y’all about something you’ve been asking a lot on our social media platforms. Will Chief Stix/CBD appear on a drug test?
Our hemp smokes are made with 100% organic hemp flower, with no tobacco, and no additives. Like that, they don’t get people high. But as some drug tests are more sensitive than others, we don’t recommend that you smoke Chief Stix before taking one. Keep reading to learn more about our hemp smokes and drug tests. 👇
CBD x THC
Let’s get to the basics: CBD and THC are different. The cannabidiol (CBD) is a Cannabis compound mostly used for health conditions, such as pain, anxiety, and insomnia. It offers the calming effects you already know if you’ve tried our hemp smokes.
On the other side, THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is a compound that gives psychoactive effects that get people high. And that’s what drug tests are usually looking for. Since the 2018 Farm Bill, it is legal to produce hemp nationwide, containing less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Our smokes are made from a hemp strain called Suver Haze and abide with the Farm Bill. No need to worry, man ✌
Does CBD appear on drug tests?
Nope. 🤙 The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) states that drug tests commonly look for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana (or THC), opiates, and phencyclidine. But we still don’t recommend you to take CBD before you make a test. Why?
There are quite a few reasons for that. Some tests may be more sensitive than others and detect THC. Other factors may also interfere, as the source of your CBD, how much and how long you took it, and your metabolism. Be careful, bro 🍃
